The new 2,300 square-foot facility will be located at 4215 William Penn Highway, Mifflintown and will feature a full-service teller pod, lobby, offices, and a conference room to provide consultative services across all lines of business for consumers and businesses in banking, mortgage, insurance, and wealth management. Kish’s newest technology–ATM + Live Banker, which connects customers to a live, local, full-service banker during expanded hours– will be available as drive-through service.

Kish Bank’s Route 35 micro-branch, located at 55 Parkside Court in Mifflintown that opened in November 2022, will continue to serve customers from the convenient location. This branch offers a concierge lobby and ATM + Live Banker services and is also home to Kish Insurance, which offers a full range of personal and commercial insurance solutions.

Both locations will be led by Kish Bank Branch Manager Tyler Hutchinson. Caleb Shertzer, Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager will lead the business banking sector.

At the ceremonial groundbreaking, Kish Bank President and CEO Greg Hayes said, “Kish is pleased to expand its service to the banking needs of the Mifflintown community and beyond with local, convenient, and highly personalized banking solutions. The Kish experience brings together the value of relationship banking and innovative technology to ensure that our clients can bank in person, digitally, or anywhere in between,” said Hayes. “We are committed to improving lives for our clients and our communities, and we look forward to our expanded and bright future in Juniata County.”

“We are a people-focused community bank—always have been, always will be,” continued Hayes. “Our mission is simple: ‘To achieve sustained success through an unwavering focus on fulfilling our clients’ financial needs.’ We believe we can improve the lives of our customers, team members, and communities—and this new Juniata County branch will help us do just that.”

Located in the former site of Ney’s Bowling Alley on leased ground owned by Weis Markets, Inc., the site preparation work, done by Mid-State Paving and Excavation, began in June. Building construction will commence once bid selection is complete. The new Mifflintown branch is scheduled to open in early 2025, and three additional team members will be added to serve from the new location.
