Kish Bank Kicks Off Weeklong Grand Opening Celebration for Route 35 Branch

MIFFLINTOWN, PA – The Juniata River Valley Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Kish Bank’s new Route 35 branch, located at 55 Parkside Court in Mifflintown, on Monday, February 6. The ceremony was attended by Kish team members, Chamber representatives, and local dignitaries, kicking off a weeklong Grand Opening celebration for the branch that will continue through Friday, February 10.

The Route 35 branch, which opened for banking services in November of 2022, is Kish Bank’s first branch in Juniata County and marks the next step in the Bank’s plans to expand further in the market with a full-service offering of banking and financial services. The branch currently offers a transaction lobby and new accounts office with concierge banker and ATM services. The addition of night deposit and video banking services are planned for the near future. The location will also continue as the home of Kish Insurance (previously Sausman Insurance), which offers a full range of personal and commercial insurance solutions.

William Hayes, Chairman and CEO of Kish Bank, addressed the celebration’s attendees, saying, “We are thrilled to be taking our next critical step in introducing in-person, full-service banking solutions to Juniata County. The Grand Opening celebration will take place February 6-10, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
