Kish Holds Annual Employee Recognition Dinner

REEDSVILLE, PA – Kish recently held its annual Employee Recognition Dinner at the Kish Innovation Center in Reedsville, celebrating its more than 240 employees and their accomplishments during the past year with dinner, entertainment, and award presentations. The evening marked employees’ first time gathering in person for the annual event since 2019 due to COVID-19, with many accomplishments to be celebrated.

Bill Hayes, Chairman and CEO, began the evening with a special welcome for 64 new Kish employees from the past two years, followed by recognition of outstanding educational and industry leadership achievements by Kish employees during the past year. Team member achievements included the completion of the three-year PA Bankers Advanced School of Banking by Chrissy Bagrosky (with honors), Allan Bills, and Jason Cunningham; the completion of PA Bankers 2022 School of Banking by Kati Aumiller, Briana Benson, and Ashley Legradi; the completion of PA Bankers 2022 School of Commercial Lending by Bradley Bollinger (with honors); the completion of Leadership Flight School by Kristie McKnight; the completion of Leadership Centre County’s Community Leadership Program by Abbie Jensen; and the presentation of the Juniata Valley Council Boy Scouts of America’s 2022 Joseph and Susan Paterno Community Impact Award to Bill Hayes.

Length of service awards and personalized gifts were presented to 29 employees celebrating milestones ranging from 5 to 45 years of service with Kish. Of note were 20-year service awards presented to Jolene Byler, Kish Travel Specialist; Sandy Hunley, Kish Travel General Manager; and Rob Sunday, VP, Compliance Officer; and 30-year service awards presented to Tina McCurdy, Personal Banker; Jennifer Mitchell, Retail Underwriter; Connie Palm, AVP, Residential Lender; and Jeffrey Wilson, SVP and CEO of Kish Insurance. Finally, a special award for 45 years of service was presented to Bill Hayes by Greg Hayes, President and Chief Operating Officer.

The highlight of the event was the presentation of Kish’s 2022 Employee of the Year Award to Andrew Shilling, Employee Solutions Analyst, in recognition of his exceptional level of service and commitment to the Kish organization. In presenting the award, Greg Hayes said that Shilling had received many nominations from his fellow employees recognizing his dedication to going above and beyond to help others. Shilling received an award plaque, personal days off, and a Kish Travel voucher for a future trip to a destination of his choice.

Greg Hayes concluded the evening with congratulations to all Kish employees for a year of extraordinary achievements and performance, thanking them for their commitment to their shared driving force: the belief that they can make the lives of those around them better.
